Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

2-3 years direct clinical trials experience. Experience with Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Radioisotope Therapy in patients with neuroendocrine tumors. Experience with the delivery of chemotherapy/biotherapy/cancer treatments, knowledge of mechanisms of action and their adverse event profiles. 2-3 years recent nursing experience in Medical/Radiation Oncology. Comprehensive patient assessment, management and intervention techniques. Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent time management and organization skills, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment. Effective oral and written communication. Good computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered. Further membership or Certification (e.g. SoCRA, ACRP) is an asset. Good Clinical Practice, ICH and Health Canada Regulatory training is an asset.
