Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be in good standing with regulatory college. Must have minimum 3- 5 years previous experience working with vulnerable populations including those with living with addictions and mental health concerns. Must embody a harm reduction approach. Demonstrated clinical skills in holistic assessment and strong clinical experience in providing treatment to address physical and mental health needs. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community partners required. Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting required. NVCI or immediate registration in to next available course required. Suicide Prevention training.

Preferred Qualifications:

Trauma-informed training preferred. Calm, warm and engaging style with proven ability to engage with a variety of people needed.
