Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to be on call as per operational needs. Ability to report to the site/client’s home for on call/call back duties within 30-45 minutes of call.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong clinical background in nursing with three years of registered nurse experience obtained within the last five years in a home care setting; continuing care experience may be considered Experience in the following: Providing wound care with excellent knowledge of wound care principles and wound care product use. Palliative care. Provision of home parenteral therapy. Provision of effective education and client teaching. Training in case management principles.
