Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one (1) year experience in the past three (3) years Acute Care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum one (1) year experience in the past three (3) years Emergency experience. Current Cardiac Arrest Management Basic/Advanced (CAM). Emergency Nursing Provincial Education Program modules (ENPEP). Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS). Current Lead II certifications. Obstetrics in the Rural ER. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
