Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal communication skill both verbal and written are required. Completion of or actively engaged in the Enterostomal Therapy certification course is required. Minimum of five (5) years within the last seven (7) years nursing experience is required. Minimum of two (2) years within the last five (5) years wound and ostomy experience is required. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job is required. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or Masters in Nursing is preferred. Active Canadian Association for Enterostomal Therapy (CAET) membership is preferred. Canadian Nursing Association certified Enterostomal Therapy Nurse (CETN (C) is preferred. Meditiech, Microsoft Office, Skype and telehealth training is preferred. Assisted Aids to Daily Living (AADL) authorization is preferred.
