Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Three years of recent Emergency / Acute Nursing experience required. Previous experience in Home Care or related setting required. Demonstration of quality assessment, critical thinking, judgment and problem solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skill required. Able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in nursing preferred. Strong knowledge and / or advanced education related to microbiology and diagnostic reporting and associated physician orders is an asset.
