Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years current Healthy Beginnings Postpartum Program experience required; however related skills and recent experience working with the newborn/infant population may be considered. Knowledge of the determinants of health required. Ability to be self-directed and to exercise independent nursing judgment required. Strong interpersonal skills required. Strong clinical, analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills required. Experience in multidisciplinary team work required. Experience working with teens, diverse cultures, and marginalized populations required. Strong written and oral communication skills required.
