Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:BCLS Certification through Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 18 months) full time medical or surgical ward experience required. Ability to work in a high paced, stressful environment. Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication. Capacity to function as an integral member of the Interprofessional team.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with patient and family centered care and collaborative practice is a strong asset. Degree in Nursing. ACLS Certification.
