Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:2 yrs of recent acute care surgical nursing experience. Demonstrated commitment to collaborative practice. Excellent written and verbal communication practices. Experience with SCM, NetCare, and RESP required.
Preferred Qualifications:Continuing education related to Trauma Nursing Care preferred. Current TNCC certification preferred. Advanced competency certification in procedural sedation, ketamine and lidocaine infusions preferred. Cardiac Monitoring and Arterial Line certifications preferred. Current “It’s Your Move” certification preferred. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate.
