Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current AADL Authorizer status is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational ahd time management skills. Demonstrated critical thinking, assessment and decision making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience nursing in a community based setting is preferred. Acute or community experience in med/surg nursing and/or Community Care Access is an asset. Use of Meditech or another electronic medical record for direct patient documentation is also an asset.
