Minimum Salary: $36.86

Maximum Salary: $48.37

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current certification for IV, defibrillation, NRP, and BGM. Minimum one-year Emergency Room experience a must. Demonstrates ability to work in a highly acute, very busy multi-disciplinary setting. Must demonstrate organization, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills. The successful applicant will assume unit leadership and charge responsibilities consistent with their level of experience. Evidence of integrity, initiative and sound judgment. Demonstrate commitment to professional development. Ability to function effectively in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal and team communication skills. Demonstrate accountability for own practice. Must be committed to promoting a positive work environment. Must possess strong communication/interpersonal skills. Knowledge and skills relating to complex discharge planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred ACLS, TNCC, and rural experience. Preference will be given to candidates with 2 or more years of Acute Care. Obstetrical knowledge and experience an asset.
