Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years NICU experience within the last 5 years is required. Active NRP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered. Minimum 3 years level III NICU experience within the last 5 years. Completion of a post-basic graduation neonatal certificate. Canadian Nurses Association Neonatal ICU certification. Participation in unit based committee/group work in last 2 years. Demonstrated Leadership (charge experience, chair of group, teaching). Prior e-critical/Metavision training.
