Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current registration with the CARNA required. Minimum of 2 years and recent experience, in an Emergency setting is required. Current BCLS-HCP (Basic Rescuer) certification is required. Incumbent must have the ability to balance numerous demands and conflicting priorities within a busy environment. Successful candidates are responsible for providing proof of active registration with the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), and to maintain registration throughout the employment relationship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pediatric experience is an asset. Preference will be given to candidates with the following certifications: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CTAS. Bachelor of Science degree in nursing is preferred.
