Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess: 1-2 years Medical/Surgical Experience and/or ICU experience. Basic Computer Skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Proven competence in relevant technical nursing skills. Demonstrated responsibility to maintaining your own continuing competence and willingness learn new skills through Professional Development activities. ACLS, TNCC and PALS certification would be considered an asset; however, training will be provided to the ideal candidate. Ability to work shifts and meet the physical requirements of the job. Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree is preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered.
