Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies Active or eligibility for Professional Membership with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association

Additional Required Qualifications:

A high level of physical effort(60-70%) is related to clinical case load. The therapist may be required to maintian a standing position with lifting, bending, and/or rotation related to client transfers or therapeutic recreation interventions. A high degree of concurrent mental effort (70-80%) is required related to decision making.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting is an asset. Experience with geriatric populations an asset.
