Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Your certificate for Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers level C (BCLS-HCP), will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:At least 1 year in the last 5 years of working within a similar type setting as a Recreational Therapist leading and planning individual and group recreation activities. Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification.
