Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration for Professional Membership with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Professional membership with the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association is required. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) is required. Must be able to work independently and possess strong participative and collaborative skills, including excellent communication skills. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office. This position requires the successful incumbent to have a valid driver’s license and to have the ability to obtain a Class 4 driver’s license and drive a 10 passenger recreation bus.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in program development is preferred.
