Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Social Work or Child and Youth Care or completion of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology .

Additional Required Qualifications:

Where eligible, current registration with a corresponding professional college and association required. Previous experience in child and adolescent mental health is essential. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. Demonstrated knowledge of psychosocial and behavioral intervention strategies. Demonstrated knowledge of Family Centered Care and care planning. Focus on positives and strengths in children and adolescents, while promoting self-care management. Excellent communication skills required. Computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Brain Story Certification. Excellent knowledge and training in Collaborative Problem Solving, Trauma-Informed Care and Attachment Theory. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or BA psychology preferred. Child & Youth Care Studies or Social Work Diploma with relevant experience considered. Non-violent crisis intervention (CPI) certificate preferred. Experience working on interdisciplinary (or multidisciplinary teams) preferred.
