Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited university.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Forensic Psychiatry experience 2 years is required. Current NVCI course is required. Extensive knowledge of court assessments required. Demonstrated ability to remain professional and dedicated to patient care in emotional, challenging or stressful circumstances. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and encouraging a safe work environment. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative and trusting relationships with staff, the management team and member of the interdisciplinary team. Ability to be self-directed and exercises independent decision-making and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated commitment to continuing education through professional development or through participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

General Psychiatry experience. Addiction and Mental Health experience.
