Required Qualifications:

Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

All requirements for PhD must be completed, including dissertation. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a PhD level Psychologist with a focus in pediatrics in a health care setting within the last 3 years. Graduate, academic research and internship training with a major emphasis in assessment and treatment working with pediatric populations with medical, developmental, and mental health problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of course work related to team building, communication and/or leadership. Quality Improvement certification (i.e. AHS AIW Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent). Change Management certification (i.e. AHS PROSCI or equivalent).
