Required Qualifications:

Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology from a CPA or APA accredited program. Supervised experience in psychological assessment/ testing, group and individual psychotherapy. Strong ability to work with other professionals and contribute positively to change in emerging services/programs is essential Excellent assessment, treatment and consultation skills required Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Strong client focus, ability to promote collaborative teamwork and partnerships. Maintains AHS and program policies and procedures. Ensures adherence to accreditation standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with case management preferred. Group therapy training and experience preferred. Experience in an outpatient setting desirable. Able to demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills. Intermediate to advanced computer skills and ability to use audiovisual/Telehealth equipment Experience supervising Psychology Residents preferred Experience in program development and evaluation, and research preferred
