Required Qualifications:

Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program is required, with preference given to candidates who have completed an accredited internship/residency. Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required; supervision may be arranged for a qualified individual with provisional registration. Advanced knowledge and skills in assessment and treatment are required. Experience working with individuals from across the lifespan (i.e., children through adults) with a variety of presenting issues is required. Preference will be given to those candidates who have prior experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. The ability to relate to clients, family members, and other service providers (including multidisciplinary team members) in a collaborative and professional manner is a must.
