Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Clinical and/or Educational Psychology. Recent experience in an acute/chronic mental health care setting is required. Demonstration of excellent assessment, organization, patient care skills and an ability to communicate findings in a concise and accurate manner is necessary. Ability to lead group therapy and work closely with a multidisciplinary team is essential. Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills are a must. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR (BCLS) – Level Health Provider C.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialized training in evaluation/counselling of clients with post-partum depression is preferred. A PhD is preferred.
