Required Qualifications:

Requires a University or post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of health care or research management experience in an organization of significant size, scope, complexity and diversity. Experience in the conduct or administration of clinical research or clinical trials is preferred, as is experience working in/with large, public organizations. Strong orientation to engaging with people, both in person and at a distance. Proven ability to foster partnerships and relationships with individuals at all levels of a health service organization, funding agency, and academic institution(s). A demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues; particularly relating to information stewardship and resource management. Experience in writing standard operating procedures or in improving workflows (LEAN, Six Sigma, AIW) preferred. Able to convert diverse discussions into actions that can be executed in collaboration with others. Networking, critical thinking, negotiation and advanced writing skills (for diverse audiences) required.

Additional Qualifications:

A demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues; particularly relating to information stewardship and resource management. Experience in managing the delivery of health care (Operations). Proven ability to foster partnerships and relationships with all levels of a health service organization, funding agencies, as well as with academic partners. Strong human-networking, critical thinking, critical analysis, audience-appropriate communication, negotiation and advanced writing skills required. Broad knowledge of eHealth strategies, clinical concepts and processes and how these are used in health care systems. Experience with the development, commercialization, assessment and/or adoption of health technologies. Experience in writing standard operating procedures or in improving workflows (LEAN, Six Sigma, AIW). Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters in Health Services Administration, Business or Health Sciences Discipline. Knowledge of the requirements for conducting clinical research in Canada or the development, commercialization and adoption of health technologies. Experience in the conduct or administration of clinical research or clinical trials is preferred as is experience working with the large, government organizations.
