Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Active or eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer I by the Alberta Solicitor General. Completion of the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (P.A.R.E.) within 6 months prior to commencement with Alberta Health Services. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Valid class 5 non-GDL driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice preferred. Two years related security/law enforcement experience preferred. WHMIS training preferred. Certificate in CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention an asset. Valid First Aid certificate preferred; valid BCLS - Level C certificate preferred. Pressure Point Control Tactic Certificate an asset.
