Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Active or eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer I by the Alberta Solicitor General. Completion of the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (P.A.R.E.) within 6 months prior to commencement with Alberta Health Services. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must provide current minimum Class 5 Driver’s abstract issued within the last 30 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Minimum two years of security related experience, preferably in a health care environment. Certificate in Verbal Judo an asset.
