Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Active or eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer II by the Alberta Solicitor General.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Fundamental understanding of Community Peace Officer authorities and roles within a health care environment, and proven competency with CCC 494 arrest/procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with two years post-secondary education in a law enforcement or criminal justice discipline, have experience in a health care environment, completed ICS-100, is currently serving as a Community Peace Officer II with Alberta Health Services. Also preferred is a current P.A.R.E. test time of 4:45 or less.
