Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, finance or healthcare related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least 5 years working in the healthcare field in an organization of significant size and complexity. Strong project managerial, organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines. Proven record of strong financial acumen and financial analytical skills. Proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating innovations and best practice. Ability to work in an organization with both direct and dotted-line reporting and peer relationships. Excellent communication, diplomatic and consensus building skills both within clinical teams as well as with physicians/leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or accounting designation would be an asset, as would experience using AHS financial tools, financial data and cost management software. Ability to identify and articulate principles underlying particular approaches and strategies. Proven record of being able to identify short term and intermediate steps that will contribute to the achievement of larger, longer term goals.
