Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Health, Business, Policy or Social Sciences. Registration with the appropriate clinical regulatory college. Equivalencies may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Significant breadth and depth of expertise in his/her own discipline as well as: A minimum of 2 years of experience in both healthcare and project management experience. A demonstrated clear pattern of progressive professional and personal development. A record of accomplishment in the following areas: Broad knowledge of health care and knowledge of addiction and/or mental health. Practical experience in strategic planning, program management, project management, change management and quality improvement. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other team members from other areas of expertise across the province and beyond AHS. Effective communication with a client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality programs/services. Demonstrated ability and experience with facilitating, presenting and education, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions to complex and diverse issues. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners. Requires knowledge of and competency with: Project development and implementation. Report writing and document development. A variety of computer software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). Interdisciplinary, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's Degree. Certification/education in: Health systems leadership, Process improvement, Change management and Project management.
