Post-secondary degree in business, health informatics, or computer science. 7 to 10 years of work-related experience in a large and complex IT environment. Extensive experience leading large project teams. Extensive knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies. Expertise in MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio. Proficiency in written and oral communication skills.
Additional Required Qualifications:Broad knowledge and understanding IM/IT functions. Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proven experience in managing teams, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching and mentoring. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:Project management designation preferred. Experience in a health services or public sector environment is desired. Experience with Informatica Analyst is an asset. Understanding of lean project methodology, PROSCI change management and/or AHS Improvement Way (AIW) Fundamentals (or similar) training is an asset.
