Required Qualifications:

Minimum of five years’ experience in a health setting (prefer Acute Care or Ambulatory Care setting). Knowledge of cancer and chronic disease prevention modifiable risk factors. Knowledge of acute care settings and practices. Knowledge of chronic disease prevention, including strategies and best practice related to cancer prevention and screening. Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ability to use skills such as team building, negotiation and conflict management, and group facilitation to build partnerships. Advanced written communication skills (educational and professional documents). Expert facilitation skills.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with managing effective collaborations, advisory/working groups and steering committees. Anticipates potential challenges and comes up with solutions. Ability to work independently, set priorities and work simultaneously on a variety of projects. Ability to manage and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s level (or equivalent) in Public Health, Population Health, Health Promotion or related area is preferred. Combination of education and work experience equivalent may be considered. Experience with research and project management methodology, processes and tools. Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft programs. Certified Clinical Research Professional designation. Ability to navigate or familiarity with AHS systems and processes.
