Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Engineering or Business. Administration (equivalent combination of education and clinical experience may be considered). Minimum 5 years general business experience, preferably in the service or manufacturing sectors. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in using improvement methods and tools in a leading role. Feel comfortable acting in an environment of leadership stakeholders. Quality improvement certification/designations such as Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt, LSS, IHI Improvement Advisor, etc. (Black Belt or equivalent designation; equivalencies will be considered). Expertise in utilizing and providing coaching in improvement tools and methods including but not limited to: Change Management, VSM, DMAIC, 5S, Visual Management, Flow and Load Balancing. Key requirements include strong knowledge of statistical and data analysis, demand capacity balancing, project management and team facilitation. Experience in deploying end-to-end improvements with significant results.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Documented evidence of formal training in quality improvement. Leading multi-stakeholder change initiatives to achieve a strategic objective (cost, quality. lead-time).


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of project management theories, principles, practices and processes. Solid Continuous Improvement thinking. Integral knowledge and understanding of principles and theories of adult education, simulation modalities and clinical applications to enable design and implementation and evaluation of simulation. Research theory and application. Proficiency in Visio, Excel, Access, Power Point, Word and QI Macros is desirable. Master’s Degree preferred.
