Required Qualifications:

Promotes a healthy and safe care environment. Ensures security of self and those in care. Recognizes safety issues and reports appropriately. Meets infection prevention and control requirements by adhering to AHS infection prevention control guidelines and practices. Uses technology, instrumentation, equipment and supplies according to established standards and procedures. Identifies trends in safety issues and responds appropriately. Uses appropriate lifting and transfer techniques. Has good communication skills.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Exhibits leadership and teamwork qualities. Disposes of and handles hazardous materials according to WHIMIS and care policies and guidelines. Seeks, offers, and accepts assistance when needed. Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
