Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited program in Physiotherapy (MScPT/BScPT), Occupational Therapy (MScOT/BScOT) or Speech language Pathology (MScPT) is required. BCLS-HCP certification is required. Membership with appropriate professional licensing body in Alberta is required (CPTA, ACOT, ACSLPA). Minimum of three recent years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech Language pathologist in an adult inpatient acute care setting is required. Experience in a leadership/mentorship role is required. Experience in complex discharge planning is required. Proven communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other health care team members, patients, and their families is required. Must possess strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Leadership development and related education is an asset. Experience working with inner city populations is an asset.
