Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.
Additional Required Qualifications:Physically demanding position that requires repetitive lifting and transferring of patients and/or equipment. Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) through the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Six months or more experience in an acute medical or surgery unit within the past 2 years. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a patient-centered, interdisciplinary team of health care professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years or more experience in an acute medical or surgery unit within the past 5 years. One year experience working with acute neurological patients within the past 5 years. Must demonstrate an ability to provide clinical service within a continually changing health care environment. Effective self-management skills and demonstrated initiative.
