Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Physio Therapy, and active registration with CPTA. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. A minimum of 2 years of current, relevant PT experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant PT experience in a community setting. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and organize many details in a timely, and flexible manner is required. Demonstrated ability to work in an inter-professional team is required. Demonstrated effective decision making and critical thinking skills are required. A demonstrated ability to work in a self–directed environment, independently, using sound professional judgment. Computer skills are required. Must be physically capable to perform all aspects of the position in accordance with HIAC. Ability to perform all duties in accordance with related legislation. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current knowledge and skill related to palliative care PT is preferred.
