Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with members of the multidisciplinary team including families. Self-direction, independent problem solving and decision-making, sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Time management and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to function effectively within a dynamic, fast paced, multidisciplinary environment. Actively integrate patient and family centered care principles in all areas of practice including clinical decision-making and effective communication. Create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Values of AHS: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety. Practice according to clinical practice standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Therapist Assistants. Experience supervising students. Recent (within the last 2 years) experience working with a pediatric population. Experience with Torticollis & Plagiocephaly. Experience working with a variety of childhood neurodevelopmental conditions and intervention approaches. Experience with working with children with ASD an asset. Experience in Program Development. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
