Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification is required. Knowledge of burns, orthopedic, trauma and surgery conditions and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is required. You are able to utilize strong judgment by analyzing facts, considering the impacts, and arriving at a sound conclusions, seeking counsel when appropriate to effectively plan treatments and discharges from hospital. You can work independently and as a part of the team creating strong, effective interpersonal working relationships with peers and other caregivers. You are a reliable worker who is flexible in using their time effectively by prioritizing competing tasks. You have effective teaching skills for students and other professionals. Basic computer skills, and ability navigating Netcare, Outlook and other electronic medical records are required. Must be able to work one in four weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Provisional licenses with the college will be considered but general license preferred. Preferred 1 year of experience in a critical care and burns setting. 1 year experience within the last 3 years in Alberta Health Services acute care setting preferred but Covenant Health experience will be considered. Skills and knowledge in delirium and dementia, and behaviors related to it are an asset. Connect Care is an asset.
