Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years clinical experience in providing care to individuals and their families. BCLS-HCP required. Experience in orthopedic care. Must be able to use independent judgment and initiative to determine most appropriate treatment and setting. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Self-directed with effective communication, organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work with families from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated flexibility and creativity. Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 year experience in providing care to individuals and their families in a community and or outpatient setting. Experience with complex chronic disease clients in a community setting. AADL Authorizer an asset. Acupuncture certificate asset. Dry Needling / IMS certificate an asset.
