Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrates excellent organizational, decision making, teaching, time management and communication skills, reliability, and personal suitability. Proven ability to work independently as well as positively, effectively, and cooperatively within an interdisciplinary team. Prior Pharmacy Technician experience with a minimum of 2 years in a large acute care hospital setting. Recent (within the past 2 years) sterile compounding experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with computer medication order entry, IV mixture and unit dose drug distribution an asset. HPT experience preferred (within the last 12 months).
