Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Trained in Sterile Production (CIVA). Understanding of NAPRA and compliance to sterile and non-sterile compounding Recent experience in hospital pharmacy. Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal). Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving. Demonstrated ability to work in teams. Within your cover letter indicate the reason you are applying to the South Health Campus and answer the following question: Thinking of your current job, skills and knowledge, what does full scope of practice mean for a Pharmacy Technician?

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Windows-based computer applications an asset. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Membership with a pharmacy professional organization. Experience with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to computer order entry, computer order verification, checking and knowledge of automated dispensing cabinets. Prior experience in retail pharmacy setting.
