Required Qualifications:

Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in medication quality and safety is required. Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary team would be beneficial. Must be customer focused and able to meet expectations of a diverse professional population for medication quality and safety related information, strategy, and improvement. Able to demonstrate extensive and effective oral and written communication skills. Knowledgably of pharmacy quality and safety issues on a provincial scope, and experience in developing complex, standardized solutions is required. Incumbent must be self-directed, able to work under minimal supervision, well-organized, and flexible to meet changing needs of the population served.

Preferred Qualifications:

A hospital pharmacy residency and 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. A combination of clinical and operational experience is desired. Previous experience in project management is an asset. Experience with Microsoft Office (Lync, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and SharePoint is an asset. Previous experience in a clinical or decentralized pharmacist role preferred.
