Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Certificate of competency from the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada is required. Evidence of leadership abilities is required. Excellent verbal & written English language comprehension, communication is required. Strong interpersonal skills to contribute to teamwork and collaboration is required. Problem solving, personal & professional accountability, time management, and self-directed learning skills is required. Proficiency with computer software such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other computer applications including HTML coding is an asset. Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency certificate is considered an asset. Membership in The Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is an asset. Experience with the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care within the hospital setting is preferred. 2-4 years’ clinical experience within a specialized program area is preferred. Experience with a multi-disciplinary patient care team is preferred.
