Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Lived experience as a support person for an individual who has a mental health and substance use concerns. Must be willing to share personal experience to empower other and inspire hope. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people with unique perspectives and experiences. Skills related to facilitating 1:1 and/or group interventions Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred post-secondary education in a related or relevant program such as social work, addiction certification or community support worker.
