Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in addictions and/or mental health. Ability to work independently or within an interdisciplinary team in a collaborative manner. Ability to be organized and self-directed. Knowledge of health care and community services. Established ability to maintain healthy boundaries is necessary. Demonstrates good written skills, computers and computer software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations particularly the homeless, people who are actively using substances and/or have mental health challenges. Previous outreach work experience. Knowledge and experience of the principles and practice of harm reduction, substance use, and social determinants of health. Knowledge of an Indigenous language is an asset. Familiar with Indigenous cultures and practices.
