Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in addictions and/or mental health. Minimum 2 years’ experience working with diverse and marginalized populations particularly the homeless. Previous experience in a health care setting or in a human services field outside of health care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience of the principles and practice of harm reduction. Knowledge of an Indigenous language will be considered an asset. Knowledge of health care and community services. Knowledge of systemic issues such as poverty and stigma. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team in a collaborative manner. Ability to be organized and self-directed. Demonstrates good written skills, computers and computer software. Familiar with Indigenous cultures and practices.
