Alberta Health Services IT has an exciting opportunity for an Organizational Change Management Specialist to join our team in supporting projects. You must be able to apply a structured Organizational Change Management (OCM) approach and methodology, working with business stakeholders and leaders to manage the people side of business change and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You understand client needs and can grasp the impacts of change, responding with effective strategies that ensure stakeholder readiness and successful change adoption. Your role: Using your well-developed planning, communication and facilitation skills, you will: develop and implement OCM, communications and educational tools/resources for projects and programs. identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests. provide advice and direction to clients. contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, coordination and delivery. understand and apply AHS-approved methodologies such as Prosci and Macroscope. Major accountabilities In this role you will work with the business to identify stakeholders and sponsors and engage with them to understand and manage the scope, characteristics and impacts of change. You will help to ensure business readiness for change by leveraging the most effective approaches for communications, sponsorship, learning and involvement. In addition, you will lead or contribute to a range of OCM deliverables, which include, but are not limited to: Stakeholder identification and assessment. Change Assessments. Initiation of the overall OCM Strategy, with specific strategies for: Sponsorship. Communication. Learning. Staffing. Engagement. Recognition. Resistance Management. Organizational readiness assessments.


As a Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests, provide advice and direction to clients, and contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, workflows and delivery for assigned projects and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.

Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years related experience (e.g. organizational change management, business analysis, project management, benefits realization, etc.). Excellent communication, facilitation, coordination and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and to facilitate change. Experience in problem solving, negotiation, concerns/conflict resolution and investigation. Experience in complex data analysis and/or interpretation, evaluation methodologies, and developing formal reports. Ability to think systematically and critically.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prosci 3-day certification preferred. Familiar with AHS IT Integrated Methodology/Macroscope preferred.
