Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ophthalmic Assistant course from an accredited institution and certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) from the Joint Commission of Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) preferred. (Consideration will be given to those currently working on these certifications.) Minimum of one year experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant required.
