Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

1 year of 1.0 FTE or equivalent experience in an Operating Room of similar function in the past 3 years (as scrub and circulating nurse) or successful completion of an approved Perioperative Nursing program within the past 2 years. On call duty is required in this position. Incumbent must be available on site within 30 minutes of call back.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year experience in a Post Anesthetic Recovery Room setting. 1 year experience in an Endoscopy suite.
