Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a University Bachelor's degree program in Occupational Therapy. Two years or recent experience (obtained within the last five years); in the absence of recent experience, completion of a refresher program within the last two years may be considered. Basic Cardiac Life Support –Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) from Heart and Stroke Foundation, current within the last 12 months, required. Handling, moving and lifting heavy or awkward equipment and/or individuals are required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills - must be able to efficiently organize many details in a time efficient manner. Ability to monitor financial accountabilities and proven assessment skills. Proven critical thinking and decision making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of two years current experience with one year in a community based setting preferred.
